As both a qualified physiotherapist and massage therapist he integrates the two disciplines where clinically appropriate.
As part of his undergraduate degree he has completed practice placements in the following specialties: Orthopedics, Medical care, ITU/HDU, Acute Stroke, Musculoskeletal outpatient and inpatient rehab accumulating over a thousand hours of clinical practice throughout the subspecialties as mandatory through his degree.
Bilal’s area of interest lies in musculoskeletal practice adopting a hands-on approach regarding his assessment and treatment style, employing a combination of manual therapy techniques such as soft tissue massage as well as joint based mobilizations where appropriate in parcel with an exercise program along with advice and education.
Bilal is a proud alumnus of the Royal National College for the Blind, where he refined his practice and uses of massage therapy, in which Bilal undertook, a comprehensive course in complementary therapies.
