Symptoms of depression and anxiety are common in those who have Chronic Fatigue and Fibromyalgia. Whether you have been recently diagnosed with these conditions or have had the symptoms for a long time it can be tough. Some people report feeling overwhelmed having to manage their condition and attend medical appointments. Other’s report finding it difficult to adjust to changes within areas of their life to manage the symptoms of Chronic Fatigue or Fibromyalgia.

Vita Health Group are working alongside physical health professionals to provide better emotional and psychological support to patients with CFS and Fibromyalgia.

Treatments offered include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) which is effective at reducing symptoms of low mood, anxiety and other emotional problems.

The experience of breathlessness can be distressing and difficult to control, and this often leads to worry, panic, overthinking, avoidance, and withdrawal. Common signs and symptoms include:
